Dr. Guo Li is a researcher and independent research group leader (PI) of the Institute of Modern Agriculture of Peking University, and a scholar of Weifang City, Yuandu. Doctor of Department of Plant Pathology, Pennsylvania State University, and postdoctoral fellow of Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Massachusetts, United States. After returning to China, he successively served as associate professor, professor and doctoral supervisor of Xi'an Jiaotong University; The main research direction is crop genomics, systems and synthetic biology, and 35 SCI papers have been published. The first author or corresponding author has published 16 papers in many international famous journals such as Science, Nature Communications, New Phytologist, Genomics Bioinformatics, Horticulture Research, and participated in the preparation of 3 monographs, and applied for 5 national invention patents; The research results have been cited by Nature, Science, Cell and other international top journals for hundreds of times; Presided over one general project and one youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and participated in one sub-project of the national key research and development project; Served as editor of Frontiers in Genetics, Plant Physiology and Biochemistry and other journals, and reviewed manuscripts for more than 100 international authoritative journals; He has participated in many international and domestic academic conferences, made conference reports and served as a special speaker.
The main research contents of the research group include:
1. Horticultural crop genomics and system biology: carry out research on the structure, function and evolutionary genomics of vegetables and flower crops, deeply excavate the sequence data of crop multiomics, and analyze the genetic and regulatory mechanism of crop excellent traits;
2. Synthetic biology of natural products: study the biosynthetic pathway, metabolic regulation mechanism and efficient heterogenesis of plant natural products;
